ABOUT US

Truth4TCKs first started as an idea tossed back and forth between several Third Culture Kids. It came to be what they wished had existed before, an organization creating visual resources to meet Christian TCKs right where they are across the globe. Truth4TCKs is for TCKs of all backgrounds: military, diplomatic, ministry, corporate, etc.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR CONFERENCES

Understanding Encouragement

At Truth4TCKs, everyone gets it. The speakers, the team, and the attendees have walked through this cross-cultural mobile life, and they are here to lift you up and point you to our only hope. Prepare for biblical encouragement and inspiration.

Speakers Like You

Every speaker at Truth4TCKs is either an Adult Third Culture Kid or someone who has expertise in the message they are sharing. We have a strong commitment to hand-picking speakers who will understand you and your story – because they share in a similar story. They grew up with different languages, cultures, and hardships. Today, they are thriving.

You Can Thrive Too

We are passionate about helping you catch a vision for how God can use you and your third culture experience for his glory. We hope that you’ll see how your story fits into God’s great story. Let’s live as global citizens for the glory of God and the good of others.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

‘You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.‘ 1 John 3:5

(…) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Romans 3:28

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

For in him [Christ] the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. Colossians 2:9-10

Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.  John 15:4

I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me. Proverbs 8:17

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.  Romans 15:4

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

(All of Genesis 1)

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.’ Genesis 1:1-5,26-27,31

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:13-16

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.  Genesis 1:27

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.  Romans 1:24-27

You [a male] shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.  Leviticus 18:22
